Frequently Asked Questions
General Information
What is the white discolouration to the outboard leg and how can I get rid of it?
The white discolouration is baked on salt. This part of the leg gets hot on some boats during long hard run. When salt water droplets are splashed on to the leg the water quickly evaporates leaving behind salt that is then baked on. This is often mistaken as a paint defect however it can be removed using a strong cleaning agent such as "Septone Drifter" or "CLR clear".
